We consult with, and listen to our partners, and use their experience to target specific zip codes and task categories to ensure lead relevance and proper aggregation.

Once we start working together, our Client Success team works hard to manage performance through real-time data sharing and regular check-in calls. In case it’s not apparent, we believe that communication is key, and we take a collaborative approach to drive success. What are leads?

When your preferences match a customer’s job details, you show up in their search results. If they match your targeting parameters, it’s called a lead, and you’ll get an alert from us. In simple terms, a lead refers to a potential customer who has expressed interest in a particular service that you offer.

When a homeowner submits a request for a service, we collect information about their specific needs, contact information, and location. This is then passed along to you as a contractor professional in the form of a lead. It is your responsibility to follow up with the homeowner and communicate with them about their project, with the goal of ultimately winning their business.

If you’re interested in winning the job:

  • Contact the homeowner as soon as possible to let them know that you are interested.
  • Start a conversation with a personalized, open question.
  • An easy conversation starter is to ask any questions you have about the project or request a time to schedule an estimate. Remember, homeowners are often reaching out to multiple professionals, so responding quickly can help you stand out from the competition.
  • Be personal by calling them by name or referencing details about the project
  • Once you've secured an estimate, be sure to join on time and be prepared to discuss the project in detail. During the estimate, take the time to listen to the homeowner's needs and explain how you can help. Don't forget to ask questions and clarify any details that you're unsure about.
  • After the estimate, be sure to follow up with the homeowner in a timely manner. If you do not hear from them right away, wait 24-48 hours to follow up on your conversation.

What happens if I have an issue with a lead?

Unlike our competitors, we have a very rigorous process for crediting leads that are outside your chosen radius/categories, have disconnected numbers or are from someone who is unauthorized to hire. Lead quality is important to us and we've created a simple process to make things right for you.

Lead pacing and quantity

Don't get overwhelmed with too many new work requests, especially during peak season.

As mentioned in the article "How to get more leads," there are a few things that you can do to increase the number of leads you wish to receive. Increasing your preferences, including service radius or accepting leads on nights and weekends, can put you in front of more homeowners. Review your settings to make sure your account is set up best for your business.

If you are one of the many Pros who want to have a handle on how quickly they use their budget, then throttling up or down gives you control over how quickly you receive leads throughout a month.

How can I pause my account?

Need a break? Networx offers the ability to pause your account until you want to take advantage of our services and partner with us again. You can pause your account through your online dashboard or on the mobile app for up to 30 days and won’t receive leads during that time.

How does Networx find homeowners for me?

In the last 15 years. Networx has helped millions of homeowners find professionals for their projects.

We have a few methods of acquiring leads that we are constantly optimizing. First, our paid marketing initiatives, including Google and SEO bring in homeowners who are looking to solve an immediate need. We also have homeowners who come to our website through word of mouth, social, or other content we post to engage those with high intent and connect them to our Pro's.

Networx partners with affiliates and third parties to meet the demand for each industry. We know not all leads are qualified and look to improve the leads we provide through proprietary AI software our tech teams have built to vet and consistently improve the leads we deliver.

Essentially, at all times we are marketing on our Pro's behalf; however, most importantly, the process is a partnership and we want to create an exceptional experience.
